The Burgundy region of France is widely known for
producing some of the finest wines in the world. In 2005 the
dream scenario for the production of healthy, ripe,
concentrated fruit occurred in this region. This month we
feature two wines from this excellent vintage

Verget, "Grand Elevage", Bourgogne Blanc, 2005
A subtle nose of toasted oak, pear, and apple. Light to medium
bodied, broad, velvety, and rich, with excellent acidity. This wine
is ample, well-defined, and everything a Bourgogne should be.
